biography

birth & beyond

being born after elizabeth caledonia ashe was disowned left quite the expectation on who faye genevieve elizabeth ashe was going to be. the new heir to arbalest arms company, her parents put quite the pressure on her to be perfect. to be better than her sister who was hardly ever spoken about. all faye knew about her sister was that she was the leader of a gang that was well known in arizona and all she ever wanted was to meet her sister. this angered her parents who forbad her to ever reach out.faye was talented in school, perfect grades and a perfect attendance which made her parents proud of her though not proud enough to make them stay for longer than a few days at a time. at a young age, faye learned to take care of herself, often not being left with a nanny or butler as her sister had been. she tried everything to get her parents to love her and to show up for them in ways that she'd learned they never did for her sister. while her sister had acted out, faye behaved and behaved well. she was popular in school, she was top of her class when she graduated and yet, her parents didn't even make it to her graduation. that was her last straw before she left.

finding ashe

it felt impossible at first for faye to track down her sister who she wanted nothing more than to meet. she was excited to be on her own, excited to be able to do what she wanted with her life. she'd squirreled away savings from her bank account for this moment. she knew eventually that she'd need the money one way or another and it led her to have enough to survive off of while she searched. her search took her to arizona where she met members of the deadlock rebels, her true identity and intentions were kept quiet. going by tennessee, she got to know a few of them for a while, talking with one of the girls more than she talked to any of the others.this was how she ended up with one of the deadlock members who would later feel betrayed by how faye never told her who she truly was, even after they ended up getting together. it was months later that she was finally allowed to meet ashe where the information that she'd kept inside for months was finally let out. who she was, how she was a replacement for ashe and how she couldn't care less about being an heir. it wasn't a smooth relationship like tenn had hoped, it took years for ashe to accept the other even after she'd joined the gang.

deadlock

faye had proven herself multiple times with multiple heists before she was even allowed into the gang. part of it was ashe not wanting her family around, especially someone who was meant to replace her but another piece of it was that faye figured she didn't want her family to be in the same position as her of being a criminal when she had the chance to be something greater and better. while tenn wanted nothing more than to be accepted by her sister and the people that her sister cared for the most.it wasn't long after these few heists that she was let into the gang at the age of nineteen, almost four years later, she was still a member of the gang. her parents had pleaded and begged for their perfect heir to return but she'd always chose her sister over her mother and father, bitter about being born to be a replacement to a relationship that they had ruined all on their own.she was a vital part of the gang, able to use a bow and arrow with more precision than a gun, she was different than the others but still a deadlock member. she loved pulling heists and nothing made her feel more alive than managing to pull off crimes with her sister and her new family. though, a piece of her wonders if she was a replacement of someone for her sister as much as she was a replacement of ashe for their parents. even then, she's just happy to have a family that loves and cares for her.
